Spray Fluxer for Optimum Flux Use
Spray fluxing requires far less flux to properly coat the underside of a board than foam fluxing. It is also more precise. As a result, you enjoy lower costs and production time and greater control over your process. The spray fluxer that comes standard with the LF-350PCN2 automatically adjusts for the width of the PCB and features flowmeter precision control discharge.
Finger Conveyor Cuts Costs, Saves Time
LF-350PCN2't titanium a finger conveyor eliminates not only the need to load and unload PCBs from pallets but the expense of buying pallets. The front fingers are on a fixed rail; the rear fingers move in and out to quickly and easily accommodate any PCB from 1.18" to 13.78" (30 to 350mm). Setup and changeover times are greatly reduced over the use of pallets. Fingers are titanium for durability. An integrated finger cleaner ensures long finger life while reducing maintenance times.
Dual Wave Pot Solders Mixed Assemblies
Even many assemblies will still combine through-hole and SMT parts in a single design. LF-350PCN2's dual wave solder pot permits these assemblies to be soldered quickly, easily, and without damage to the board or the components. The first wave—-the chip wave—-is a highly agitated wave designed to achieve good penetration of bottomside SMD leads and pads without risk of shadowing. The second wave is the traditional lambda wave for soldering through-hole leads. The waves are individually controlled.
